The Symbols of Colors in the American Black Women Literature

摘要：

　　The paper takes The Bluest Eye(1969)and Beloved(1987)by Toni Morrison and The Color Purple(1982)by Alice Walker as the master works of the American black women literature,and employs the literary methodology of symbolism to show and analyze the close relation between the use of words of color and literary thinking.
