An Analysis of Chinese Images in American Movies Since 1990s
As an art,movie has many infectious functions,such as education,entertainment,business,and even politics.Therefore,movie can strengthen and extend national images naturally and plays an important role in the process of disseminating and shaping Chinese images.Since 1990s,Chinese images in American movies have become more and more positive and shown the trend of diversity.This paper aims to study the Chinese images in American movies since 1990s and summarize some disciplinary conclusions by studying the reasons of the changing Chinese images in American movies to make some self-reflection and self-improvement and shape a more positive national image.
