Developing Thinking Skills in Speaking Skills Class

摘要：

　　This paper describes the non-linguistic problems that prevent students from expressing themselves effectively at a more advanced level.It then proposes the integration of thinking instruction with the teaching of speaking by arguing why and how effective thinking can improve the content and effectiveness of students utterances; at the same time the paper discusses specific ways of developing thinking in the speaking skills class.
