　　In the novel Lady Chatterleys Lover,flowerplays an important role.In D.H.Lawrences opinion,natural life was the real life for people but the modern society spoiled it and made it a society filled with material wealth and ruthlessness.In this novel,flowersymbolizes Constances rebirth; the harmony between nature and people as well as the conflict between civilization and nature.By means of presenting the symbolic meanings of flowers in the novel,the paper intends to uncover the delicate and real relationship among people; people and the society.
