The Image of Xinjiang in Peoples Daily

摘要：

　　A good image is a crucial component in forming regional competitiveness,and it is formulated largely by mainstream media.This paper attempts to present a corpus-based study on the regional image of Xinjiang portrayed by analyzing the high frequency words and keywords identified in widely circulated national newspaper— Peoples Daily—since the foundation of Peoples Republic of China.
