An Evaluation on the Micro-videos Adopted as College English Teaching Materials in the Flipped Classrooms of China
The aim of this article is to make an objective and overall evaluation on the micro-videos,one of the teaching materials produced and applied by the College English teachers in the course of implementing the flipped classroom teaching approach in China.This article examines a number of micro-videos and makes a detailed evaluation on the micro-lesson videos from the perspectives of validity,reliability,the short-term and longterm leaning and feedback of students for the videos.Through the analysis of the videos,this article aims to find out the problems existing in videos production to contribute to a better choice of topics,teaching material development and suitable ways to combine the videos with flipped classroom mode.
