Foreignization and Domestication to Achieve Poetic Beauty in Form
Poetry is the art whose language is concise and tactful but has a rich reserve of messages, which increases the difficulty in translation.A successful translation needs not only to convey the meaning of the poem, but also to maintain the original formal beauty,so that the version is a coherent entity of content and form. This article takes Wordsworths The Daffodils as the example to analyze how to achieve the beauty in form by means of foreignization and domestication.
