On the Smoothness and Elegance in the Translation of Technical English into Chinese
Smoothness and elegance constitutes an important side of technical translation quality,but its not easy to realize the smoothness and elegance in technical translation practice.The paper studied the problem from two aspects: 1)the embodiment of the style of technical English; 2)the conformity to the Chinese habit in translation.Then,the relation between the faith,smooth and elegance in technical translation was discussed.Finally,it came to a conclusion that technical translation of good quality is the high unity of faith,smoothness and elegance.
