Review on Small Aspheric Glass Lens Molding Technology
Aspheric lens can eliminate spherical aberration, coma, astigmatism, field distortion and other adverse factors, reduce the loss of light energy and get high quality image and optical characteristics.In recent years, with requirements of electronics industry and compact, portable devices and high performance products, the demand for aspheric glass lens is growing steadily.As a low cost and high efficiency manufacturing technology, glass lens molding process has been able to realize industrial production in the machining of small diameter aspheric lens.However, lens molding will have great impact on residual stress and profile deviation of the glass lens.These key technical factors which will affect the quality of glass lens molding process are systematically discussed and reviewed in order to solve the present technical bottlenecks and problems and predict the prospect of glass lens molding process in the future.
