Atmosphere Influence in Patient Perceived Healthcare Service Quality and Outcome--An International Study of Finland, India, Nigeria and PRC
Service quality has been a focus since 1980s both in academia and practitioners. But only in recent years, healthcare service quality began to attract researchers attentions. These studies just go the old track of the available result achieved by Nordic or North America Schools, and adopt some dubious paradigms and assumptions, such as the assumed relationship between patient perceived health care service quality and satisfaction, as well as loyalty. The paper explores the healthcare service quality from a new and international perspective, i.e., tries to find a answer how atmosphere influences the perception of the service quality of the hospital. The data collected from Finland, India, Nigeria and Peoples Republic of China, and achieved some unexpected conclusions.
