Empirical Analysis of Regional Distribution Differences of Basic Pension Insurance in China

摘要：

An empirical analysis of regional distribution differences of Chinas Basic Pension Insurance by means of the 2000-2009 interprovincial panel data indicates that there exists some cointegration between average basic old-age pensions and regional average wages, therefore, both the central and local governments are supposed to extensively develop economy, strengthen the reform of basic social oldage security system, forward the regional equalization of basic social old-age security service and strive for a harmonious development of economy and society in China.
