Research on Relations of Labor Shortage and Lewis Turning Point

In recent years, with the emergence of Labor Shortage of Guangdong, Zhejiang and other places, more and more domestic scholars are beginning to study Lewis turning point. Some believe that the Lewis turning point has arrived, and some believe that Lewis turning point is coming too early in China. Based on the nature of Chinese labor shortage and Lewis model of economic analysis, combined with the situation in China, we make a transformation of the Lewis model, which can better explain the largenumber of Chinese rural surplus labor force in the remaining cases and the presence of the labor shortage phenomenon.
