Empirical Study of the Effect of Employee Participation on Employee Commitment
In this paper, we validated five dimensions of employee participation in the context of Chinese culture, and explored the relationship between various dimensions of employee participation and employee commitment. The results demonstrated that the demographic factors have no impact on the correlation between employee participation and employees commitment; fair compensation has a significant effect on emotional commitment, normative commitment and continued commitment; while identification and information-sharing have a significant effect on emotional commitment and normative commitment.
