Family Business Performance and Family Members Involvement — An In-Depth Study from Personal Characteristics
The essay studies the relationship of the private enterprises performances and the involvement of their family members from Personality characteristics point of view. Via empirical researches, the essay analyses how the Personality characteristics of family members affect the enterprises performances, and concludes that the involvement of family members may not necessarily have negative effects on performances, thus introduce the paradox that the involvement of family members will slow down the development of the private enterprises. The essay then analyses what Personality characteristics will encourage better performances and explains why there are certain ratios of family members in wellperformed private enterprises in their maturity.
