A Study on Style and Characteristic of the Enterprise Leader-Member Relationship in Chinese Context
The particularity of the eastern and western tradition and interpersonal relationship has different effects on the pattern and characteristic of leader-member relationship. By comparing with deviation degree of the relationship quality perceived by the leader and the members, the enterprise leader-member relationship in Chinese context can be classified into balanced high relationship, balanced low relationship, leader overestimation relationship and member overestimation relationship. While the supporting approaches and degree given by the leader to the members, and the perceiving modes and degree of the leaders supporting reflected by the members are the major reasons for the generation of the four types of relationship patterns.
