The Effective Integration of Multimedia Teaching Model and Task-based Teaching Approach in English Teaching
1 Introduction The epoch we live in has been changing with each passing day, so have the needs of our country and society for qualified personnel. Of all the qualifications, English proficiency has almost become a must for university students who anticipate seeking satisfying jobs after graduation. Nowadays, those talents different employing units thirst after in the job market are partly featured by their ability to use English in a well-rounded way, which ensures their effective communication with foreigners in their future studies and careers. Hence the proper adjustment of English teaching. This paper attempts to explicate the roles of multimedia teaching model and task-based teaching approach in English teaching and their effective integration.
