LearnersEvaluation of Online Learning Resources
1 Introduction The beginning of the new millennium saw remarkable increases of new technologies utilized in College English teaching. In 2000, the Ministry of Education in China invested 30 million RMB on the project of “Constructing Webbased Courses in the New Century. Ever since then, about 200 web-based courses are being constructed every year (Chert Xu, 2006: 16-23). The college English course is the direct beneficiary of this project and is the first undergraduate course which requires learners to do online learning unanimously.
