A Study on the Student-centered Teaching Model in Audio-video Speaking Class in CALL Environments
1 Introduction The extensive use of modern information technology in China has greatly changed the college English teaching in various ways. In CALL environments, the focus of college English teaching has been shifted from strengthening students’ language ability to developing learners’ comprehensive language competence and practical skills. The teaching model is changing from a traditional “teachercentered pattern to a “student-centered multi-dimensional model, which aims to develop students integrative language ability.
