A Study of Prototype Theory and its Application to the Teaching of College English Writing
1 Introduction This is a study of the prototype theory and its application to the teaching of college English writing. Prototype theory has been applied to a lot of teaching fields, such as the teaching of words and vocabulary study, the comparative study of Chinese and Western culture, grammar and pragmatic use, etc. There are few studies on the combination of prototype theory and English writing. As a matter of fact, they are closely related.
