The Growth of Feed Processing Enterprises: Orientation, Approach and Performance--Based on the Investigation of Feed Processing Enterprises in Northeast of China
The paper is based on the survey data from the feed processing enterprises in the three northeastern provinces of China, based on this article, building the growth model of the feed processing enterprises, that is, two-dimensional structure is constituted by the growth orientation and approach. On this basis, the article analyzes the performance result from the different growth orientation and approach of the feed processing enterprises making use of multiple regression analysis methods. The results show that from the business growth orientation, the performance of the horizontal growth feed processing enterprises is better than the vertical ones, however, the performance level between the horizontal feed processing enterprises and the diversified ones is no significant difference; from taking the growth approach, the performance of feed processing enterprises taking internal growth approach is no more significant advantage than external growth ones.
