Psychometric Testing and its Implications on Human Resource Management and Organizational Competence
This paper reports the main findings based on the survey study of companies practicing Psychometric testing for the last two years and based in and around Bangalore (India). The study aims to measure the effectiveness of Psychometric testing and its impact on Human resource management and organizational competence. The results indicate that the practice of PT in respondent units found to be not very effective. The study also found that the strength of relationship between PT, HRM & OC at average level. In order to make the practice of PT more effective, respondent units are required to put more efforts than what is being made in the area of training and development scheme on PT.
