How Gender Affects the Learning of Computer Applications
After freshmen completed the Introduction to Computer course from the community college in DuPage in the U. S. A. , the computer-based assessment results do not show that male students significantly outperform their female peers on Windows XP and Office 2003 professional applications. This study does not consider factors such as age,ethnicity, experience, social class, and course delivery format. Three types of course delivery formats are included in this study : instructor-led, online, and independent learning.
