胡锦涛报告和新重庆的教育转折点

摘要：

Part I of this Paper gives close attention to the role assigned to various forms and formats of Education” in President Hu Jintao”s 2007 Report to the 17th National Congress of the CPC. Patt Ⅱ focuses on Chongqing Municipality in SW China, and on how its current policies embody and implement President Hu”s policy promises.In doing that, Chongqing is emphasizing the iole of Adult Education, not least in regards to balancing rural-urban development.Thus; labour migration, peasant workers,new agricultural practices and personhood, and Three Gorges resettlers, are all part .of the educational challenges that Chongqing is addressing. The Paper concludes on a note of caution, but also of hope.
