Porous Polylactic Acid Nanofibrous Membranes with Both Hydrophilic and Hydrophobic Properties

  Waterproof and moisture permeation membranes is essential for dehumidification system.The Janus membranes with different hydrophilic and hydrophobic properties have excellent performance and higher efficiency.In the process of pre-paring the Janus membranes,however,the process is complicated,and it also takes longer.Electrospinning technology is used to prepare micro-nano-scale fiber membranes,which can effectively increase the filtration capacity of the membranes.By controlling the jet flow rate in the spinning process to cause the difference between the two surfaces of the fiber membrane,when the jet flow rate was 10 mL h-1,the JANUS membrane can be manufactured in one step.Two sides of the membranes with highly flow rate demonstrate vary properties.The water contact angle of hydrophilic side was 138.8°,the water angle of hydrophobic side was 82.8°.The water vapor transmission(WVT)rate of the membrane was 7 490 gm-2 day-1.
