Fabrication and Characterization of Fabric Based Temperature Sensor
Flexible temperature sensors play a very important role in medical treatment,artificial intelligence,wearable and other fields.A flexible temperature sensor based on fabric was prepared in the paper.First,two conductive threads were sewn into the fabric substrate as two electrodes of the sensor by an embroidery machine.Second,the conductive composites(polydimethylsiloxane(PDMS)/reduced graphene oxide(rGO)/platinum(Pt))were printed on the fabric substrate,and dried at a certain temperature.The flexible temperature sensor obtained by this method has good temperature sensing perform-ance.A heating platform was used to set up a simulated environment,in which the formed flexible temperature sensor was characterized,including sensitivity,linearity and hysteresis characteristics.In order to test the stability of the sensor,the sensor resistance was continuously tested in a constant temperature and humidity environment.The results shown that the sen-sor has good sensitivity,linearity and electrical hysteresis during the processes of temperature rise and cooling.The resistance of the sensor is relatively stable and recovers quickly.
