A Flexible and High-Performance Sodium Alginate Composite Fabric-Based Air-Tight Triboelectric Nanogenerator
In order to further broaden the natural material selection and applicability of triboelectric nanogenerators(TENGs),develop and optimize green friction layer materials to improve output performance and sensitivity,in this work,Sodium Alginate(SA)and SA-based tribopositive films doped with nano-Al2O3 and glycerin were prepared to optimize the e-lectrical properties.And then the flexible and air-tight TENG was prepared with conductive fabric electrode substrate and TPU packaging layer.The result shows that compared to SA fabric-based TENG,the optimized fabric-based TENG with SA composite film(SG/A12O3-TENG)has improved significantly by 531%,700%,185%,respectively in voltage,current,and transferred charge.The sensitivity as a pressure sensor can reach 29.194 V/kPa in the pressure range of 0~2 kPa and it exhibits stability under 10 000 cycles.Finally,monitoring hand bending movements was successfully studied,presenting its feasibility of acting as wearable sensor.
