Fabrication and Characterization of a Pressure Sensor Based on Conductive Fabric and PDMS Sponge
The rapid development of intelligent wearable devices has raised people's expectations for the flexibility,sensitivity and reliability of pressure sensors.Here,a pressure sensor is prepared with a sandwich structure,based on the conductive fabric and the porous PDMS sponge.First,PDMS sponge was prepared by sacrificial template method.Before the PDMS sponge is solidified,the conductive fabric is attached to the PDMS sponge surface to form a firm sandwich structure.Then re-duced graphene oxide(rGO)is coated on the inner and outer surface of the matrix to prepare the piezoresistive flexible pres-sure sensor,through the dipping-coating method.The experimental results show that this pressure sensor has high sensitivity,high precision and high repeatability.Moreover,this sensor also has the advantages of lightweight and soft,suitable for smart wearable devices.
