Influence of Structure of Electrospun PAN Fiber Membrane on Its Thermal Performance

  In order to control the warmth retention of electrospinning fiber membranes,PAN fiber membranes with different diameters were successfully prepared by optimizing the electrospinning process parameters.With the help of scanning electron microscope,electronic digital micrometer,precision balance,capillary flow pore size analyzer and thermal resistance tester,the quantitative relationship among fiber diameter-fiber membrane structure-fiber membrane thermal resistance was explored.The fitting results show that the fiber diameter has a quadratic function relationship with the warmth retention of the fiber membrane.According to theoretical calculations,when the fiber diameter is 0.120 um,the porosity is close to the maximum and the pore size is close to the minimum.At this time,the thermal resistance of the PAN fiber membrane can reach the maximum value of 0.043 m2·K/W.Corresponding to experimental data,when the spinning solution concentration is 8%and the spinning voltage is 18kV,the fiber diameter of the electrospun membrane can reach 0.123 um,and the test data shows that the warmth retention of the fiber membrane under this parameter is exactly 0.043 m2·K/W,which further confirms the accuracy of the fitting results.
