High Performance Waterborne Polyurethane/Silk Fibroin Composite Membrane
With the continuous development of human society,the oil-centric energy consumption system has become increas-ingly difficult to meet people's growing survival needs,and at the same time it has brought great pollution to the environment.The development and utilization of new green and environmentally friendly high-performance materials has huge research po-tential and research value.In this paper,composite membranes were prepared by mixing waterborne polyurethane and silk fi-broin at different ratios.The mechanical properties,contact angle,infrared spectrum and XRD of the membranes were char-acterized to investigate the synergistic of waterborne polyurethane and silk fibroin.The results showed that silk fibroin con-tains a large number of amide bonds and hydroxyl groups,which can form intermolecular hydrogen bonds with the amide bonds and carbonyl groups in the waterborne polyurethane.The mechanical properties of the waterborne polyurethane film can be significantly improved,and the hydrophobicity of the water-based polyurethane film can be improved.After blending with silk fibroin with good biocompatibility,it can expand the application of water-based polyurethane in the fields of drug sus-tained release and bone tissue engineering.
