Investigation of Sensing Property for GC Coated Knitted Fabrics
The fabric-based flexible sensors have potential in medical,health and other fields.Herein,four kinds of weft knitted fabrics were functionalized with GC(GC)agent using coating method.The GC was compacted and agglutinated to the fabrics which was observed by Zeiss microscopy,while the wash fastness also revealed the bonding capacity.The sensing property was revealed by dynamic resistance test.The results illustrated that the fabric resistance increased during the stretc-hing process,and the functional fabrics can meet the demand of large deformation according to the elongation.The resistance signal changing corresponding to various bending angles was measured by simulating finger or joint motion.The results showed the good performance of the sensor.Moreover,the tensile strength demonstrated good mechanical property.The GC based flexible knitted fabric with certain sensitivity and large deformation can be applied to human motion signal detection.
