Fabrication and Characterization of Fabric Based Strain Sensor
In recent years,flexible electronic devices have attracted a wide attention because of their friendly contact with hu-man body and stable monitoring ability.Fabric-based strain sensor is considered as one vital sensor for wearable electronic devices.It has a broad application prospect in medical monitoring,motion monitoring and other fields.In this paper,a flexi-ble strain sensor based on fabric sandwich structure is fabricated by a simple screen printing method.Firstly,two conducting wires are sewn into the knitted fabric as two electrodes of the sensor.Secondly,polydimethylsiloxane(PDMS)is printed on the fabric substrate and dried at a certain temperature.Thirdly,the conductive composite PDMS/reduced graphene oxide(RGO)is printed on the PDMS substrate,then dried at a certain temperature,and finally packaged by PDMS.The experi-mental results show that when the mass fraction of RGO is 13%,it has good sensing performance.
