Acrylic Conductive Fiber Prepared by Copper Plating with L-Ascorbic Acid as Reducing Agent
Conductive acrylic(PAN)fiber was prepared by copper reduction deposition under weak alkaline conditions,u-sing L-ascorbic acid(VC)as reducing agent.Mainly studied the influence of CuSO4·5H2O,L-ascorbic acid,2,2'-bipyri-dine and potassium ferrocyanide concentration on the conductivity and weight gain percentage of the prepared conductive fi-ber.The morphological structure of the fiber was characterized by scanning electron microscopy,the mechanical properties of the fiber were analyzed through the mechanical property test.The results showed that the optimal concentration of each react-ant was CuSO4·5H2O 25 g/L,VC 26.25 g/L,2,2'-bipyridine 15 mg/L,potassium ferrocyanide 8 mg/L,and the volume resistivity of conductive PAN fiber prepared in this process was as low as 1.027×10-2 Ω·cm.
