Preparation and Properties of Thermal Insulation Fabric by Coating with Potassium Hexatitanate

  In order to improve the thermal protection performance of the fabric,potassium hexatitanate particles were used as heat-insulating particles,firstly the potassium hexatitanate particles and various additives were added to the polyacrylate coat-ing adhesive to prepare a functional coating,and then coated on the surface of the base cloth to prepare potassium hexatitan-ate particle coating fabric.The effect of potassium hexatitanate particle content on the thermal insulation performance of the coated fabric was discussed,and the physical properties of the coated fabrics were also tested.The results show that the ther-mal insulation performance of the coated fabric is significantly improved,and which is positively correlated with the particle content.When the particle content is 40%,the thermal conductivity of the coated fabric is reduced by 27.4%compared to the original fabric,the thermal insulation performance is improved the most at the same time,and the thickness,breaking strength and bending stiffness of the coated fabric increase,while the breaking elongation,air permeability and moisture per-meability decrease.
