Study on the Correlation between the Soundscape of Living Streets and Public Activities:Taking Chengdu as an Example

　　The soundscape in the street has a significant impact on different public activities,and the soundscape generated by the activity also shapes the street environment.Taking four typical living streets in Chengdu as examples,through the questionnaire,the public's soundscape preferences and satisfaction with the street space were investigated.Using factor analysis and cluster analysis,the main types of soundscapes in living streets are summarized as natural sound,social sound,commercial sound,urban background sound,and mechanical sound 5 classes,the relationship between public activities and soundscapes is discussed from two aspects of activity types and activity groups.Based on this,the improvement and promotion strategies of street soundscape are proposed.
