A Study of Traditional Wisdom in the Landscape of Rural Settlements:The Case of Beijing Jijiaying Fortress Landscape
Rural landscape contains two important components of nature and human activities,and is a kind of regional culture formed on the basis of the harmony between human and nature.The rural settlement landscape in the rural landscape objectively represents the social and cultural environment of the countryside and reflects part of the way human agrarian society uses natural resources.This paper takes the special rural settlement in the outskirts of Beijing,the Jijiaying Fortress in Miyun County,a typical representative of the Great Wall military settlement,as the object of study,summarizes the landscape composition of the settlement,analyzes the regional and identity characteristics,and reflects its unique charm as a military fortress-type rural settlement landscape.It also reflects the traditional knowledge inherited from the working people in terms of site selection,construction,layout and culture.
