The System and Function of JA:Japan Agricultural Cooperatives-A Positive Side and Negative Side

　　JA:Japan Agricultural Cooperatives is one of the biggest cooperatives,total union members are over 10 million(2017).JA is the huge organization.JA's main purposes are 1)increase the agricultural production,2)improvement of economic and social status of farmers.JA utilized the advantage that was a huge organization and provided various services to a member of an association.Those services are 1)FARM AND BETTER LIVING GUIDANCE,2)CREDIT BUSINESS,3)MUTUAL INSURANCE BUSINESS,4)MARKETING BUSINESS,5)SUPPLYING BUSINESS.JA did big contribution for agricultural production increase and income improvement of the farmers in Japan.However,JA had a negative influence on management ability improvement of the farm.
