Construction of a Heterogeneous Information Network by Fusing Multi-Source Biomedical Data

  With the continuous development of modern medical treat-ment,biomedical data is constantly expanding,and a large number of databases have emerged to store such information,such as GenBank and OMIM.However,data vary a lot in dif-ferent databases and there is no uniform standard to regulate them.Thus,it is necessary to manage them in a normative form for better discovery of knowledge.This paper proposed a method of constructing a heterogeneous information network by fusing data from multiple sources and use a unified graph database for data management,which makes the data model more scalable.The new data model is scalable,visualizable,and comprehensive,which can contribute to further data analysis based on the heterogeneous information network.
