Research on Application Recognition Technology Based on User's Touch Screen Behavior
As time duration of people using smartphones increases,mobile manufacturers such as Apple have developed mobile usage statistic tools that help users understand time distribution on application usage.However,with the application evolves,users may experi-ence different contexts within one application,such as watching videos,playing games,shopping,chatting,browsing and studying.Existing tools can only count the application duration,but can-not calculate the duration of users experiencing different contexts within an application.Motivated by the interactions between users and smartphones are different for various contexts,this research proposes a context recognition system based on user interaction behavior,which identify six contexts and calculate the duration of user experiencing each context within one application.Experi-ments confirm that the context recognition system can achieve an average accuracy of 90.4%.
