Ratio Fairness-Based Power Allocation and User Scheduling for Downlink NOMA Heterogeneous Networks
Heterogeneous network(HetNet)with non-orthogonal multiple access(NOMA)technology is an important and promising network structure for next-generation communication systems. The power allocation scheme is usually studied under the same user's threshold condition in NOMA HetNet.However, the quality of service(QoS)requirement of each user are different because of the various business demand. In this paper,we propose a ratio fairness model and user scheduling scheme to increase the number of users accommodated in the NOMA HetNet while satisfying the user QoS requirements in NOMA HetNet.Further,we construct a user pairing strategy to perform efficient successive interference cancellation(SIC).And the dichotomy and linear program method are adopted to obtain the optimized solution.Simultaneously, the proposed user scheduling scheme can guarantee that the user QoS requirements are met.The simulation results show that the proposed ratio fairness model can improve the performance of user access ability compared with another fairness NOMA approach and the conventional orthogonal multiple access(OMA)technique.
