DYNAMIC CONTROL OF VC VALUE OF RCC IN HIGH ALTITUDE AREA
the VC value of roller compacted concrete (RCC) is a very important index of RCC mixture,which directly affects the interlayer bonding,compressive strength,frost resistance,permeability resistance and other properties of RCC.At the same time,RCC VC value is easily affected by the special environmental conditions such as strong sunshine,low pressure,large temperature difference between day and night and large evaporation capacity in high altitude areas.According to the environmental conditions and engineering conditions of the site of DG hydropower station in Tibet,the dynamic control of RCC VC value in high altitude areas is studied and some experience and results are obtained.According to the climate environment in high altitude area,the standard of RCC construction is discussed.The method of adding water directly in mixing station and increasing the amount of water-reducing agent is put forward to dynamically control the VC value of RCC,at the same time to provide effective quality assurance for RCC construction under the complex and changeable climatic and environmental conditions in high altitude area,and to provide technical reference for similar projects in the future.
