DESIGN AND PRACTICE OF RIVER DAM FOUNDATION TREATMENT FOR HD HYDROPOWER PROJECT
HD Hydropower Project is located in Lanping County,Yunnan Province,and the river dam is an RCC gravity dam with a maximum height of 203m,which is the highest RCC gravity dam that has been built in China.Regarding the design and practice of river dam foundation treatment,we proposed a dam foundation rock mass utilization standard for ultra-high concrete gravity dam.Based on the exposed geologic conditions,geological defects were identified and divided into several categories,and targeted treatment measures like consolidation grouting and contact grouting were carried out.Since the project impoundment the deformation and displacement of the river dam and the dam foundation are very small,and good results have been achieved,which means the dam treatment design scheme is reasonable and can provide theoretical guides for the similar projects.
