RESEARCH AND APPLICATION OF OVERFLOW FULL-SECTION CSG COFFERDAM CONSTRUCTION TECHNOLOGY
Cemented sand gravel (CSG) dam construction technology is extension of RCC dam construction technology,its character that aggregate taken directly from local materials broaden the optional material scope and reduce the impact on the environment.Its extensive construction technology that aggregate dont need screening and wash helps reduce the project cost.The maximum weir height of the upstream cofferdam of Dahuaqiao Hydropower Station is 57m,with full-section composed of Cemented sand gravel,while the maximum aggregate particle size is 250mm.Its the first time to use full-section CSG cofferdam construction technology in domestic large rivers.By adopting CSG mixture ratio design and experiment,the overflow upstream cofferdam has realized the rapid construction and reach the top on schedule.The application of CSG construction technology improve the standards of retaining water of cofferdam and overflowing of excavation pit in dam foundation,which accumulated valuable experience for the application of CSG dam.
