RESEARCH AND PRACTICE OF CONCRETE TEMPERATURE CONTROL FOR HUANGDENG DAM

  The maximum height of RCC gravity dam of Huangdeng hydropower station is 203m,and the maximum bottom width is 160m.The annual and daily variation of air temperature in the dam site is large,the water temperature in the river and the reservoir is low,and the temperature control standard is high and difficult.Based on the characteristics and difficulties of dam temperature control,the standards and measures of concrete temperature control and crack prevention as well as the intelligent implementation and management methods were deeply studied in the design stage,the temperature control standards and measures of Huangdeng dam concrete and the related requirements of Intelligent Temperature Control are put forward to guide the project construction.In the process of implementation,based on the real-time monitoring data acquired from Intelligent Temperature Control,the dynamic tracking of the spatial and temporal distribution of concrete temperature and stress in Huangdeng dam is realized,and temperature control standards and measures are dynamically optimized and adjusted,on the premise of ensuring the safety of dam temperature control and crack prevention,the temperature control measures are simplified to the maximum extent.Through engineering practice and verification,the effect is remarkable.
