Balanced Scorecard (BSC) in Evaluating the Teaching Staff of Modern Industrial Training
Industrial training,as an important course in universities,is aimed at cultivating studentspractical abilities and consciousness of innovation. The traditional evaluation is based on the unit of class and the performance is determined by the number of class hours, which gives no attention to the quality and is not comprehensive enough.Nowadays, the new generation of college students is more independent and has high sense of self-identification.They want to participate more in the whole procedure of teaching, which means that the traditional teaching methods and evaluation patterns are no longer desirable.Using the Balanced Scorecard (BSC)to evaluate the teaching staff of modem industrial training is an entirely new way.Compared to the traditional way,the Balanced Scorecard not only pays attention to the evaluation of the result, which is,the number of teaching hours, but also the evaluation of the teaching procedure. It will make significant progress in optimizing teachers resources, improving teaching satisfaction and students learning ability.Applying the Balanced Scorecard to the performance appraisal of the modern industrial training faculty can effectively combine the performance management with the future strategic development. This can not only optimize the present course, but also redesign the course pattern on this basis.
