Construction and Implementation of Teaching System for University Engineering Training within the Emerging Engineering Education Paradigm

  The Emerging Engineering Education (3E) is an inevitable requirement for the development of national strategy,and a milestone of higher engineering education.As the main approach to the engineering practice teaching in universities,it is urgent to be adapted to the requirements of 3E.Therefore,based on the analysis of the current situation,a new system of engineering training for 3E has been proposed and implemented,namely,construction of an interdisciplinary innovation platform featuring the “Internet + on the basis of the new comprehensive engineering training center;construction of interactive stereoscopic teaching resources,cracking the time and space limitation of training practice;implementation of the new 2+X model for innovation training and competition training,stimulating students enthusiasm and creativity;establishment of the project training evaluation system on the base of student center,result oriented,continuous improvement principle,ensuring sustainable development;and provision of service to students through Engineering Library,enlarging the boundary of opening and sharing.
