Engineering Practice Teaching Embraces New Opportunity of Development Based on New Engineering Discipline
New Engineering Discipline is the optimism,reconstruction,and content grading of engineering discipline construction under the new situation,new environment,and new requirement.The construction of the engineering training centers in the universities and colleges faces a new developing opportunity based on the requirement of the new engineering discipline.Therefore,renewing the teaching connotation of engineering training,exploring the cultivation target,model,and teaching contents for the engineering students,better being suited to the requirement of talent cultivation for different majors,is a natural selection of practice teaching reform.The New Engineering Discipline is a deep reform and development for the higher engineering talent cultivation in order to fit the new situation abroad and at home.The above reform and development of talent cultivation is closely related to the cultivation of engineering practice ability,engineering quality,and innovative thinking of the students.One of the key for solving the problem is deeply to develop the engineering practice teaching and strengthen the innovative practice teaching based on the different projects driving.In recent years,the engineering practice teaching has achieved a unprecedented development in the aspect of reform connotation,teaching contents,teaching methods,teaching management and safety guarantee under the leadership of Education Ministry and the university leaders.With the coming of New Engineering Discipline,the engineering practice teaching will embraces a better developing opportunity to satisfying with the forthcoming requirement of national strategy and enterprises development.This paper will explore on how to renew the connotation of engineering practice,better cultivate the comprehensive talents with global sight,practice ability,engineering quality,and innovative ability based on the basic clues of the New Engineering Discipline construction.
