Application of Internet of Things in Electrical Engineering Practical Teaching

  It is difficult to meet the current situation of training requirements for electric power innovation talents due to the lack of the latest technical elements such as smart grid and power Internet of Things in our electrician practice teaching project.Based on the IOT technology,this paper brings preliminary research on equipment and teaching modes of electrician practical teaching.(1) Established an IOT based on 433MHz wireless communication and realized reliable communication of the IOT using the Modbus RTU communication protocol.(2) Designed RFID identification node,switchgear switching monitoring node,temperature and humidity monitoring node.(3) Conducted a research on the electrician practical teaching model based on the IOT.It proposes to increase the awareness of the Internet of Things monitoring node,the secondary development interface of the Intemet of Things monitoring node for students to open up,increase the Intemet of Things to explore topics and discuss the three groups of electrical practice teaching methods for the Internet of Things.The effect of teaching practice shows that the methods proposed in this paper significantly improves the students interest in electrician practice project.The scores of the experiment are significantly improved.The introduction of new elements inspired the students creative thinking.
