Research on the Cultivation of College Students Engineering Ability Based on Maker Space

　　Facing the demand for talent cultivation in the age of new industrialization and Made in China 2025,Southwest University of Science and Technology makes full use of multidisciplinary advantages of engineering training centers and complete modern manufacturing environment to build maker space.Maker space integrates resources effectively,innovating engineering training model,providing students with a good self-study,free and creative environment.Simultaneously,strengthen the construction of tutor team and carry out project-driven and contest-based maker activities,aiming at creating a new engineering Practice base.Maker space is the best complement and optimization of traditional engineering training courses.It is of great significance to improve students comprehensive practical ability.
