The role of molecular techniques in the future of operational performance of full scale anaerobic digestion facilities

摘要：

　　Overcoming the challenges that wastewater treatment plants face today requires to complement engineering solutions with insights about the microbial communities involved at the corc of the biological treatment processes.This work develops about the necessity of using information about the microbial populations to complement and augment existing operational information,thus allowing the improvement of performance of wastewater treatment plants into a new higher level.
