A Study of Effect of Roughness on the Contact Surface Temperature of Coaxial Connector
The coaxial connector, as a significant part of the communication system, has an important impact on the reliability of the communication system.In the engineering applications, when coaxial connector transmits high frequency signal, its contact surface has a temperature rise phenomenon, which affects the reliability of signal transmission.This paper analyzed and modeled this phenomenon theoretically and studied the effect of coaxial connector rough surface on temperature rise under the condition of high frequency signal.Besides, the temperature rise effect of different plating materials of coaxial connector was studied.This work could provide an important guidance on the connector design to some extent.
